This is the second time Live Update has crashed on me with a reinstall that loses all my settings. I have read other threads here asking the same question and the responses are that Norton has not provided any mechanism for saving firewall settings or even giving a clue as to where those settings are stored. If it did why couldn't Norton integrate that same functionality into their own NRnR tool? Sloppy, lazy support functionality!! Unbelievable that Norton support directed me to use windows control panel to solve a problem within Norton. He was referring to Windows Control Panel to uninstall a program? I agree with you, I doubt that my firewall settings will be saved.

I thought the Norton Chat support person was talking about an option within Norton.
